FCL - Ford Cricket League

Board Details

FCL is governed by the board members and board is responsible for organizing the league which includes team registration, player registration, schedule, reserving grounds, framing rules for FCL, disciplinary actions, releasing funds, hosting FCL events etc. The board is elected for two years of time period and each department is lead by a Head of Department and a backup resource.

In consideration of my voluntary participation in the FCL Cricket Practice & Tournament:

I agree to the waiver terms indicated on this form,

I Agree to release, hold harmless and not to sue Ford Cricket League(FCL), FCL Detroit Chapter, Advisory Board, Working Committee, Cricket Committee, Captains, Players, persons responsible to book the grounds, volunteers, sponsors, persons directly or indirectly involved in this tournament, associated with FCL, Township boards where games/practices are held and any persons associated with the township on account of any personal injuries, COVID Contact to self, including any related treatment or consequences and I further accept responsibility for any damage to personal property while participating in the FCL Cricket Tournament.
I also agree that signing this form shall also bind my spouse and relatives, to release, hold harmless and not to sue Ford Cricket League (FCL), FCL Detroit Chapter, Advisory Board, Working Committee, Cricket Committee, Captains, persons responsible to book the grounds, volunteers, sponsors, persons directly or indirectly involved in this tournament, associated with FCL, Township boards where games/practices are held and any persons associated with the township.
I Permit FCL COMMITTEE to use, for any lawful purpose, photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other media of FCL Cricket activities in which I appear.
I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand FCL cricket rules and code of conduct. I agree to abide by the laws, rules and regulations as set forth by FCL COMMITTEE and accept any disciplinary action that may be handed down by FCL COMMITTEE officials pursuant to any behavior on my part that may, at FCL COMMITTEE’s sole discretion.
I Acknowledge and accept that submission of this form is an integral requirement and precondition of participation in FCL Cricket Tournament.
I acknowledge that any complaint against other teams or players will be brought to FCL board only by the respective Team Captain or Vice-Captain. Remaining Players are not allowed to engage in such discussions.
I acknowledge that any disciplinary action taken against a player or team by FCL board will be final and there wouldn’t be any legal proceedings external to Ford Motor Company or Ford Cricket League Committee from FERA on such issues. I acknowledge that for all such cases, FCL Board holds all rights to investigate the case and give its decision.
I agree that disclosing personal information like contact details, Date of Birth and address locations are in due of my personal interest. And I hold full responsibility for sharing them during registration and modifying them from profile. I accept that FCL board, FCL Web Committee has not made it mandatory and providing the above stated information is in due of my personal interest.
I accept to provide necessary information to Team Captain and FCL Board in validating my registration.
I accept that I will update my team captain and FCL Board if by any means; I no longer fit the eligibility criteria for participation in the league. This includes, but not limited to, working directly or indirectly on assignments with Ford Motor Company either as a Full Time or through an agency. I accept that my profile will be deactivated with immediate effect in the FCL Website, if I fail the eligibility criteria. If in case, I fail to update the team and board on the eligibility criteria and still participate in the league; I accept the disciplinary actions taken against me and my team by the FCL board.
I agree that I will register with valid first and last name which matches to my Ford Badge or other government issued photo ID. And I accept that I will provide the requested photo ID to FCL match officials if they want to confirm identity.

Acknowledge that I have read this agreement and fully understand its terms, and I understand that I will give up substantial rights by accepting it. I am accepting it freely and without any inducement or assurance of any nature, and I intend it to be a complete and unconditional release of liability to the maximum extent permitted by law and agree that if any portion of this agreement is held to be invalid, the balance, notwithstanding, shall continue in full force and effect.

In addition, I agree to adhere to the following in order to hold the FCL tournament to its highest professional standards:

Game starts and ends on time.
No aggressive gestures or abusive behavior against other players or umpires or audience on the ground, emails or in social media used by FCL for communication and promotion.
Play with right spirit and within FCL rules, the laws of Cricket and respect the decisions given by umpire and continue the play.
